What are the different motors called? Like I know there are flat drive units but what are the rest? Also can someone tell me an engine that is a flat drive unit?

They don't look like oil drums to me, they look more like engine parts.

So, it seems Plarail has discontinued them. Will anything be replacing them?

I’ve been looking into getting a Trackmaster Donald and Douglas, and while my dreams of a Plarail Douglas are demolished (thanks for releasing one of two twin characters in obscure sets, PLARAIL) I have been thinking about getting the 2013 ones. And while a lot of people hate on this item, I don’t mind… as long as it’s official.

That’s what I need help with, I see lots and lots of listings for Trackmaster 2013 D&D on EBay, but I don’t know which if they’re real or fake. I remember hearing somewhere that the knockoffs have metal tender axles, but I don’t know if that’s real or not.

If you own a real 2013 Donald or Douglas, and a knockoff, please tell me the differences you see. It would be appreciated.

I got some trackmaster pieces for free and it came with the instructions for the avalanche set. I have potentially another set but no instructions and I cannot figure out what set it might be. A few pieces look exactly like the glowing mine set but they’re a different color. Can anyone help?
