We don't officially know yet. Some Walmarts haven't been effected by AEG yet from what I heard.

I already have Oliver, Skarloey, and Rusty in Plarail so I guess Duck, Diesel or Salty since I only have those in TrackMaster.

Duck, Oliver, the Scotts, Bill, Ben, Daisy and Diesel considering these characters are relevant to the CGI series. Though, Oliver should be redesigned with a smaller boiler.

Apart from the wheels reboot Plarail Thomas would likely be the same thing as TrackMaster 2 reboot Thomas.

Yeah, Plarail will likely stick with the CGI designs (since the reboot is now a separate series) but since Diesel is a main character in the reboot they may consider bringing him back.

I honestly hope Parail doesn't touch the reboot. They are a third party so I guess they have more freedom.

CGI Thomas was seen in the recent merch adds meaning it will likely remain in the merch. It could be like how WR had Early Engineers alongside the main range.

The late 2009 face honestly just feels a bit strange to me. Honestly, Fisher Prince should have just updated to the Plarail designs in late 2009 when Hit gave them the rights. Plarail probably wouldn't of had to discontinue half their range as other countries would have been buying them.

I like Plarail and Tomy. I miss the pre-2010 design.

I miss that design of Thomas, not counting the red funnel. Just the pre-2010 design.

As far as I am aware of Stepney was never planned on returning in CGI. Brenner at least wanted to bring back BoCo but Mattel was greedy. But if he did return he could remain in the range.

Yeah, these should have been released much sooner.

Yeah it's very annoying how the merchandise won't make the Little Western, Bill, Ben, Daisy and the Skarloey Railway yet they weren't afraid to make Freddie.

Alternate timeline where the US and UK just have their motorized engines imported from Japan.

I can understand Hit era characters but to be fair they could have brought back Duck, Donald. Douglas, Oliver, Bill and Ben as singly sold engines rather than the 3 packs when they returned to the show. And if they kept Diesel 10, they should have kept Splodge and Lady as well.
