- Mattel also produced three promotional prize boxes sent to competition winners and selected people:
- The Big World! Big Adventures! prize box contains Thomas and Ace the Racer, Nia and the Elephant, Yong Bao the Hero, Boat and Sea Set, Straight Track Pack, Curved Track Pack, and Switches and Turnouts Track Pack. The box is styled as a suitcase and also includes a sticker sheet, passport, and poster displaying the 2018 TrackMaster range and a map of Sodor.
- The Glow-in-the-Dark prize box contains Hyper Glow Thomas, Hyper Glow Nia, Hyper Glow Ashima, straight track pieces, curved glow in the dark track pieces, switch track pieces with purple switches, and the MINIS Neon Glow in the Dark Pack 1 and 2. The box is decorated with neon symbols and also includes a poster displaying the Glow-in-the-Dark products and a map.
- The Turbo Speed prize box contains Turbo Thomas Pack, Turbo Percy Pack, Turbo Diesel Pack, Straight Track Pack, Curved Track Pack, and Switches and Turnouts Track Pack. The box is decorated with logos and symbols, features concept artwork, and also includes a promotional booklet.
