Trivia
- Flying Scotsman is one of two real engines to be made, the other being Stepney.
- The prototype TrackMaster (Revolution) 2016 Flying Scotsman features green traction tires, whereas the final version has the standard gray tires.
- Flying Scotsman reuses Gordon's running board and therefore has rectangular buffers, whereas he has had round buffers in all Thomas and Friends related media.
- Due to the fact that Flying Scotsman has two tenders, as an engine he does not work with a majority of TrackMaster (Revolution) sets. This problem can be solved by removing a tender.
