  • The TrackMaster Rheneas is incorrectly colored carmine instead of vermilion because earlier merchandise of Rheneas was based on magazine illustrations in that livery.
  • Rheneas is one of the few engines not to have moving siderods.
  • The prototype TrackMaster (Fisher-Price) Rheneas features a green caboose instead of a blue one.
