Thomas TrackMaster is a battery-operated system that was manufactured by Tomy in Europe and funded by HiT Toy Company. The range features similar products from the TrackMaster (HiT Toy Company) and Motor Road and Rail ranges. Near the end of 2009, Fisher-Price picked up the licenses.

- In August 2008, Tomy along with Drayton Manor theme park in the UK, broke the world record for the longest toy train track at the park's Thomas Land using the TrackMaster range. The track measuring 1,800 metres long and made from 10,530 pieces, took two and a half hours for an engine to complete a circuit around. The record was later beaten in 2010 in Queensland, Australia using the new TrackMaster range.[1][2][3]
